- Lunch is a sublime four-course affair. We had ours while traveling through the picturesque Breede- and Hex River Valleys.

- High tea with cake
- A five-course dinner. Opulent indulgence.
- Sumptuous breakfast
- Full length bed made by a room attendant.
- Towels, soap, gown & slippers provided together with fragrant body wash & conditioning shampoo.
- An entire extra lounge car for smokers, can you smoke on a plane?
Smoker's Lounge also with full bar - Views, comfortable seating, various options to choose from.
- Tea, coffee, etc.
- Cash bar in the lounge car
I found that ablutions facilities were always very neat and comfortable.
I will be writing more but this is just to show you that, considering time wasted on the airport, or the risks of road travel, Premier Classe train travel taking you between Cape Town and Johannesburg is just the most sensible, enjoyable option.
We disembarked rather reluctantly as we could have stayed for another few days on board! Visit the Premier Classe website for more information.
